Abstract

Given the phenomenon of demographic ageing that Italy is experiencing and will experience in the future, understanding what new values and contents voluntary action is acquiring as new generations enter adulthood is of strategic importance. It will be necessary to consider the peculiarities that characterise the different generations in order to grasp the nuances of a vital challenge for our communities: to allow generational change and the entry of new people into the dimension of voluntary action, as a key instrument of inclusion and community resilience.
