TS4 Trieste fourth century: a case study in community organisation in citizen-led projects

Abstract

Under the pretext of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Free Port of Trieste (2019), the TS4 trieste secolo quarto project activated a process of citizen involvement and participation, asking and posing a series of questions and reflections concerning the present and future of the city. A bottom-up participation experiment that can be replicated in other Italian cities to promote a democratic discussion on possible futures.
