Abstract
The commercial video game that conveys political messages and solicits involvement, together with other innovative tools such as social media, gamification and live streaming, represents the new frontier of political communication and participation, thanks to the receptiveness of the video game audience to innovative modes of communication and involvement. In the coming years, media ignored by the big players in politics will increasingly become the main channel of emerging parties and movements.
