Will the city of the future have a gender perspective?

Abstract

How to make a city not only ‘man-sized’ but also ‘woman-sized’? The Pordenone Città Futura project, realised with the Municipality of Pordenone, aimed at experimenting a path of active participation of citizenship, declining it according to the principles of gender mainstreaming (as a positive action) and innovating it in the tools (futures studies). An action capable of initiating a transformative process for the benefit of the community, responding to the challenges of the UN 2030 Agenda.
