Abstract
In the recent political discourse focused on the transformative solutions of climate neutrality, a concept, that of ‘just transition’, which has been present in the political and scientific debate for some time, has been brought back into vogue. Incorporating in a trans-disciplinary way the protection of human rights and the centrality of the principles of environmental justice, energy justice and climate justice, the ‘just transition’ is an imperative for the future that must, however, clash with the continuing urgencies of the present, which can slow down its implementation.
