Abstract
The theory of global warming now enjoys considerable consensus among climatologists and meteorologists. However, there is no lack of controversy about climate change in the political world, the generalist media and public opinion, often fuelled by dissident experts. Sociologists have also begun to address the issue: an analysis using scientometric tools provides an insight into the extent to which sociologists study the phenomenon of climate change, paying particular attention to trend changes.
