Abstract
What can the Squid Game series teach us both for the present and for the future? A dystopian imagery that is not far from our lives. It suggests a “Weltanschauung” (world view) that is not impossible to imagine. A logic of domination, voyeurism and surveillance. A world where economic capital is worth more than life itself. A society where all needs, even the strangest, can be immediately filled. Anyone who does not survive this logic disappears... Squid Game makes us reflect on a future in which even surveillance becomes exclusive.
